Go responsive or go home
The title is meant to be a joke, but seriously nowadays if you’re building a website it should probably be responsive. Point, Blank, Period.
I’m sure all of have seen the numbers but if not do a quick search using the following search terms “desktop vs mobile” you will see why its important to create a website that is not only optimized for desktop users but also mobile users.
Plus there are so many frameworks in the market today that it’s a bit strange when I come across a website that is not.
If you’re a small shop like us and you don’t technically have the budget for a full-blown native app, then your site needs to be responsive.
The screen shot above is taken while using a 12.9 IPad pro, maybe not the best example but I have the say the layout adjusts pretty well in my opinion
Eventually sometime in the future when our budget permits, I would love to have a native app built for the site. But as of right now my concern is to make certain that the site functions properly with as many devices as possible.
